Printing plates in our workshop
In our workshop we print etchings, heliogravures and copperprints – all manually on our trusted printing presses. The process of manual copperplate printing is one of the most sophisticated printing techniques. The process has hardly undergone any changes since the 16th century. It is very time-consuming and the printer has to work with both high empathy for the work of art and meticulous technical skills. Quality of the final outcome depends widely on aesthetic sensitivity of the printer.
